WINNIPEG, MB. - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the club has signed International defensive back Tevin Homer and International receiver Corey Washington.
Homer (6-2, 190, Florida Atlantic, March 13, 1995 in West Palm Beach, FL) played two seasons at Florida Atlantic, appearing in 13 games primarily on special teams. He signed with the Washington Redskins as an undrafted free agent last year, but was released before the regular season.
Washington (6-4, 215, Newberry College, December 29, 1991 in North Charleston, SC) split his four-year collegiate career between Georgia Military and Newberry, totaling 147 receptions for 2,396 yards and 34 touchdowns. After being signed by the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent in 2014, he has spent time with multiple practice squads in the NFL.
