Philadelphia Wings News Release

The Philadelphia Wings (2-7) will have a busy weekend as they take on heated rival Orlando (4-3) at the Amway Arena, on Friday, March 12 at 7:35 p.m. before traveling back home to play Minnesota (4-4) at the Wachovia Center on Saturday, March 13 at 7 p.m.

The Friday matchup in Orlando could be a physical one if it resembles the first meeting between the two this past January. Orlando won the first game with the Wings, which included three fights, four game misconducts, and a total of 128 penalty minutes handed out by the officials. Despite being in sixth, the Wings are still within striking distance of a playoff spot and Head Coach Dave Huntley is not ready to call it a season.

"It is an absolutely massive game for us," said Huntley.

After, what will be a tough game against the Titans, Philadelphia will return home to host a red hot Swarm team which has won three straight. After a 1-4 start, Minnesota is making a run in the West Division behind fifth year forward Callum Crawford who has averaged seven points a game over the team's winning streak.
