Philadelphia Wings News Release
The Wings are 0-2 after losing to the Colorado Mammoth by a score of 13-9 at the Pepsi Center in Denver on Saturday. In a game marked by 165 collective penalty minutes, the Wings lost the services of Tony Henderson and Drew Candy due to game misconducts suffered during the game. Leading scorers for the Wings were Jeff Ratcliffe with four points (3G, 1A), Paul Cantabene with four points (2G, 2A), Tom Marechek with three points (2G, 1A), Keith Cromwell with three points (1G, 2A), and Jeff Spano with two points (1G, 1A).

MAMMOTH STAMPEDE INTO PHILLY
* The Wings will tackle the Colorado Mammoth this Saturday in their home opener at the First Union Center in week five of National Lacrosse League action. Game time is 8 p.m.
* Defenseman Paul Cantabene comes into this weekend's game as the Wings leading scorer with ten points (3G, 7A). Cantabene was acquired from the former Washington Power (now Colorado Mammoth) in a trade in September 2002.
* The Mammoth are coming off a 13-9 win over the Wings at the Pepsi Center this past Saturday. The win places the Mammoth in first place in the NLL's Eastern Division with a 2-1 record. Leading scorers for Colorado are Ted Dowling with seventeen points (7G, 10A), Gary Gait with sixteen points (7G, 9A), and Del Halladay with ten points (5G, 5A).
WING HOST MEDIA LUNCH
The Wings host their annual pre-season media lunch on Tuesday, January 21 at noon in the Lexus Club located on the event level of the First Union Center. Wings players and coaches will be available for interviews and hot wings (of course) will be served.
BROAD ST. BASH DEBUTS ON JAN. 25
The Wings debut the all-new Broad Street Bash at the First Union Center prior to their home opener on January 25. The inaugural Bash will feature live music from the group Delirium Theory, interactive games, concessions, and more! Doors open at 6:30. The Broad Street Bash will take place on the First Union Center concourse prior to every Wings home game.
LET THE MADNESS BEGIN
The Wings will offer a Matinee Madness package this season that includes both matinee (1 p.m.) home games on Saturday, February 22 and Saturday, March 8. The Matinee Madness package includes four mezzanine level tickets to each game, four game programs, and two Dallas Eliuk bobblehead doll coupons for the February 22nd game. Matinee Madness packages are just $100!
WINGS WORLD
* Paul Cantabene leads the Wings in scoring with ten points (3G, 7A).
* Forwards Tom Marachek and Jeff Ratcliffe leads the team in goal scoring (4).
* The Wings are 0-2 going into Saturday's game against the Mammoth and hold third place in the NLL's Eastern Division behind the New Jersey Storm and Colorado.
* The Wings had a season-high 78 penalty minutes in Saturday night's contest. Defenseman Brian Barrett led the team in penalties against Colorado with 21 minutes.
* Sixth-year forward Jake Bergey will miss the 2003 season after suffering a torn ACL in his left knee in an exhibition game against Colorado at the Pepsi Center on December 6. Bergey underwent surgery last month and will continue rehab throughout the season.

* Wings forward Tom Marechek can be heard on WNJC on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
* Defenseman Jeff Spano can be heard on WYSP Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
* Goaltender Dallas Eliuk will be a guest on the Y100 Morning Show on Wednesday during the 9 a.m. hour.
* Goaltenders Dallas Eliuk and Nick Schroeder along with defenseman Drew Candy will introduce the premiere of the new movie Biker Boys at the Lowes Theater in Cherry Hill, NJ. Introducing the movie with the Wings players will be the stars of the movie Derek Luke (Antwoine Fisher), Rick Gonzales (The Rookie), and Brendan Fehr (Final Destination).
* The Philadelphia Wings' Andrew Martin, Andrew Guindon, Jeff Ratcliffe, Nick Schroeder, and Tony Henderson unveil the new scoreboard at the Don Guanella School on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.
* Forward Jeff Ratcliffe will tape an interview on WMMR Thursday morning that can be heard later that day.
* Dallas Eliuk can be seen on NBC 10! Thursday at 10 a.m.
* Jake Bergey and his father Bill Bergey host a Wings pep rally at D'Ambrosio Dodge at 1221 East Lancaster Avenue in Downingtown, PA at 7 p.m. Wings players including Dallas Eliuk and Tom Slate will be on-site to sign interviews and there will be a free chicken wing buffet for all fans.
