
Wings Bring Christmas Back For 2007 Season

The Philadelphia Wings have signed forwards John Christmas, Dan Marohl, Kyle Fiat, and Kevin Nee along with defenseman Peter Jacobs for the 2007 season, it was announced today by Wings General Manager and Head Coach Lindsay Sanderson.
Christmas, a native of Lower Merion, PA, enters his second National Lacrosse League season after being drafted in 2005 by the Wings. The 5'10", 175-pound forward recorded two points (1G, 1A) in two games for Philadelphia last season.
Marohl tied with forward Sean Greenhalgh last season to lead the Wings in scoring with 73 points (21G, 52A). The seventh-year forward was signed by the Wings as a free agent on February 6, 2003.
Jacobs, an eleven-year veteran, accumulated eleven points (3G, 8A) for the Wings last season and won 280 out of 432 face-offs. The 6'5", 225-pound defenseman is second overall in all-time loose balls for the Wings (833) and third overall in all-time games played (120). Jacobs was drafted in the 1996 Entry Draft by the Wings.
Rosenberger enters his second season with the Wings after spending the 2006 season on the practice squad. Fiat and Nee are both entering their rookie seasons after being signed as free agents.
