Windsor Spitfires News Release

(Windsor) Windsor Spitfires Vice-President and General Manger Warren Rychel today announced that the Spitfires have acquired centre Zack MacQueen from the Sarnia Sting. In his rookie season with the Sting, MacQueen scored 11 goals and added 12 assists for 23 points during the 2009-2010 campaign.

In exchange, the Spitfires have sent a 12th round pick to the Sting for the 2011 OHL Priority Selection.

"We're glad to add a player of Zack's calibre to our team. He can play all three forward positions and also in every game situation. In our head to head matchups with the Sting this past season, he was one of their best players game in and game out and we look forward to welcoming Zack to Windsor," said Warren Rychel.
