Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers Set to Re-launch Team Website

Wilkes-Barre, PA - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers will soon unveil the new and improved team website in preparation for the 2003 season. Design work for the new site will be provided by Wilkes-Barre-based localcat.net. The target date for the new site's launch is Monday, November 4th.
"In order to remain competitive in sports, you have to continually provide top-notch service and up-to-date information for the fans," said Pioneers General Manager Rick Sneed. "Our existing website served us well during the inaugural season, but we've raised the bar significantly for 2003."
In addition to an improved design and layout, the updated site will have several new features, including weekly feature stories, a player of the week section, and interview sound bites from coaches and players.
The new Pioneers' website will be localcat.net's first venture into professional sports.
"We're proud to have the opportunity to be involved with the Pioneers," said Justin Boyette, webmaster for localcat.net. "We believe this will be a successful partnership for years to come."
