Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers Add Former Predator to Front Office Staff

Wilkes-Barre, PA – The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers are pleased to announce former Orlando Predators' staff member Mont Thurston has been hired as the team's Director of Business Operations for the upcoming 2004 arenafootball2 season. Thurston will oversee all aspects of the team's ticket and merchandise sales, as well as game-day operations.

"We're thrilled to have Mont join the team," said Pioneers President/GM Dave Berryman. "His years of experience with Orlando will be invaluable to our organization from a business standpoint, while at the same time drastically improve the quality of game-day entertainment for our fans."

"I'm very excited to become part of the Pioneers staff and to be reunited with Mr. Berryman," said Thurston. "I'm looking forward to a great 2004 season."

Before joining the Pioneers organization, Thurston served as Director of Game-Day Operations and Ticket/Merchandise Manager for the Predators from 2000-2003. Thurston is a lifelong resident of Orlando, Florida.

Pioneers season ticket sales for 2004 are scheduled to begin in October, and fans may now add their names to the waiting list. Season tickets for 2004 will be available for as little as $40.00.
