
Wilderness Announce Tender of Dane Westen

The Minnesota Wilderness has announced that it has tendered 18-year old Dane Westen, of Castle Rock, CO, for the 2022-23 season.
Westen currently plays for the Buffalo Regals 18UAAA. The 6'3", 207 lb defenseman brings good size and an ability to generate points. Over 14 games this season, Westen has posted 1 goal and added 7 assists for 8 points. In his first season of 18U in 2020-21, he won a AAA national championship with Rochester Coalition, scoring 3 goals and adding 10 assists for 13 points over 29 games.
Westen has also played AAA hockey with the Rocky Mountain Roughriders and Selects Hockey Academy.
A senior at the Salisbury School (a college prep school in Salisbury, CT), Westen will be suiting up for Salisbury's varsity hockey team later this Fall.
