
Wildcats pick Gormley

Moncton Wildcats News Release
The Moncton Wildcats made the first pick of the 2008 QMJHL Entry Draft this morning. Danny Flynn, head coach and director of hockey operations picked Murray River native Brandon Gormley.
Gormley is a 6-foot-2, 175 pound defenseman. He spent the 2007-08 season playing midget AAA for the Notre Dame Hounds in Saskatchewan. In 52 games Gormley picked up 64 points including 18 power play goals and one short handed goal.
Gormley's Hounds won the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League Championship this past season.
