Wildcats Conclude Open Tryout Camps

San Diego, CA. The ABA San Diego Wildcats concluded their open rookie/free agent tryout camps for the 2007-2008 ABA season Sunday, August 5th at the Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center on a very positive note. The Wildcats organization strongly believes that a solid team can be constructed from the raw talent displayed by the prospective Wildcat players at both tryout camps.
The San Diego Wildcats are the city of San Diego's lone professional basketball team and are committed to bringing excitement for the sport of basketball back to America's finest city when the ABA season begins in November 2007. The Wildcats ended their first season in the ABA last year by making it to the playoffs and with the players the Wildcats intend to add from their open tryouts, the Wildcats are on a quest to conquer the ABA and become champions this season.
The organization is in the midst of assembling a basketball team that the city and the ABA will talk about for years to come and with a successful and explosive basketball team, the Wildcats are now in search for their female counterparts. The Dance Team auditions will be held Sunday, August 19th.
