Wildcats Call up MacArthur and Fox

MONCTON N.B. - The Moncton Wildcats will call up forwards Casey Fox and Brodie MacArthur from the Summerside Western Capitals for tomorrow's game vs. the Charlottetown Islanders at 2:00 p.m.

Fans might remember these two from the Hub City Showcase tournament that was hosted here in Moncton this past summer. Now, both with the Western Capitals of the MJAHL they have put up impressive numbers in the first part of the season.

Brodie MacArthur, a native of Summerside PEI, has appeared in 30 games to date with the Summerside Western Capitals, recording 10 goals and 18 assists for a total of 28 points. The 17-year-old was drafted by Moncton in the 2015 QMJHL Entry draft.

After playing last season in Fredericton, 18-year-old Casey Fox has also joined the Capitals lineup for the season. Born in Green River, N.B. Casey has played in 24 games for Summerside, notching 8 goals and 10 assists, for 18 points.

"Both Brodie and Casey have had a great start to their season in Summerside. With an injury in our current lineup we felt as though this was a great time for us to bring these two up and see how they have progressed this season." said Director of Hockey Operations, Roger Shannon.

Puck drop for tomorrow's game is at 2:00 p.m. doors will open to the Coliseum at 12:30 p.m.

It is our annual teddy bear toss game and Medavie Blue Cross will be selling bears at the game! It is also our New Year's Eve Party and family fun zone prior to the game. The agrena will be set up with bouncy castles, face painters and more, your game ticket gets you free entrance, doors open at noon to the agrena!
