Wild Things Tryouts Set

The Wichita Wild and Wild Things Director LaTisha McFarthing have set the tryout dates for the 2009 Wild Things dance team. Preliminary auditions will take place on Saturday, December 6 with final auditions set for Saturday, December 13.
Dance team hopefuls will learn a routine starting with check-in at 8 AM on December 6 at the north Best Western located just off of I-135 in Park City. The tryout will last until about 1 PM with the selection of dancers that will move on to the final audition.
Those selected to participate in the finals will learn the final routine at practices throughout the week of December 8. Interviews will also take place during the week. The final audition will take place at 2 PM on December 13 at Towne West Square Mall. The final team will be announced following the audition. The tryout at Towne West is open to the public.
Registration forms can be picked up at the Wild office at 1550 E. 61st St in Park City. Registration forms are also available online at www.wichitawildfootball.com. There is a registration fee of $20 if you are registered by December 3 or a $25 registration fee the day of auditions. Completed registration forms can be sent or dropped off to the Wild office along with a money order or cash for the audition fee.
Qualified candidates must comprise skills in hip-hop, stylized jazz/technique and pom along with the passion to entertain, be a respected role model, learn and be in the public eye.
