
Wild Sign Former KU Defensive Back

The Wichita Wild signed their fourth defensive player with NCAA Division I experience this week. The Wild signed former University of Kansas defender Kendrick Harper. Harper played at KU in 2007 and 2008 and played at Butler County CC in El Dorado during the 2005 and 2006 seasons.
Harper started seven games for the Jayhawks in 2008. The Hartwell, GA native finished 8th on the team in tackles with 39. In 2007, Harper started three games for the Jayhawks that finished 12-1 and won the Orange Bowl. Harper played in eight games and tallied 19 tackles during the campaign.
At Butler in 2006, Harper finished third on the team in tackles with 66 tackles and led the team with six interceptions. Harper played in all 11 games for the Grizzlies in 2005. During the season he saw time at both wide receiver and defensive back.
