September 16, 2010 - Indoor Football League (IFL)
Wichita Wild News Release

The Wichita Wild signed their second player for the 2011 season on Wednesday. Former Oklahoma State and Fort Scott defensive back Lucien (pronounced Loo-Shun) Antoine was added to the Wild roster. Antoine's physical style of play earned him the nickname "The Punisher" while he was at Oklahoma State.

Antoine played for the Cowboys during the 2008 and 2009 seasons. In 2009, Antoine played in all 13 games and finished 4th on the team in tackles with 65. The Coral Springs, FL native was slated to be a starter for the cowboys in 2008, but suffered a season ending injury in the second game of the season.

In 2007, Antoine was credited with 110 tackles for Fort Scott and was named to the All-Jayhawk Conference first team. He was also named Second Team All-American. In 2007, he tallied 50 tackles for the Greyhounds. Antoine was also recruited by Arkansas, Louisville, and Mississippi following his time at Fort Scott.

The Wild can bring up to 45 players to training camp that will open in February with 25 players making the final roster. The 2011 season will kick-off in February with a complete schedule to be announced later this year. Season tickets start at just $80 and include FREE parking. Call the Wild office at 316-440-5044 for more information.
