Wichita Wild News Release

The Wichita Wild of The Indoor Football League (IFL) has set a franchise record for season ticket sales with five weeks left until the first home game. The Wild has sold just over 800 season tickets for the 2009 season, which is an increase of over 70% from last season.

Wild General Manager Mike McCoy could not be more ecstatic, "Considering all of the negativity in the news about the economy, this news is a testament to the loyalty of our fans and sponsors. It also proves the game of indoor football and our family friendly atmosphere is really resonating with fans." McCoy expects the Wild to sell another 75-150 season ticket packages between now and the beginning of the season.

Season tickets start at just $98 for the entire season and go up to $175 for the season. Fans that purchase season tickets will get the same seat for all seven regular season games and have the first right to purchase playoff tickets. Hartman Arena will hold 5,200 fans for football with horseshoe shaped seating as there are no seats in the West end zone.

The home opener for the Wild is on April 4 as the Sioux Falls Storm come to town for a Central Division battle. Single game tickets will go on sale on Monday, March 9 for all Wild home games. For a complete schedule and to view a seating map, visit www.wichitawildfootball.com.

Fans are encouraged to call the Wild office at 316-440-5044 to reserve their seats in the brand new Hartman Arena for the 2009 season.
