
Wild Hit the Field at Home on Friday

The Wichita Wild will continue to search for their first win on the 2011 season on Friday night as the West Texas Roughnecks visit Hartman Arena. The game kicks off at 7:05 pm with doors opening to the Arena at 6:00 pm. This is the first of two meetings between the teams this season.
West Texas comes into the game with a 3-1 record and the Roughnecks sit atop the Lonestar Division. The Roughnecks offense is led by Arkelon Hall at the quarterback position. Hall has passed for 14 touchdowns and 496 yards. On the receiving end of many of those passes is Josh Floyd. Floyd has caught 21 passes for 241 yards and five touchdowns.
On defense West Texas has allowed 33.3 points per game which ranks fifth in the IFL. The Roughnecks lead the IFL in sacks with 13. Individually they are led by Jeramie Richardson with four sacks and Eric Henri who leads the team in tackles with 13.5.
Wichita's offense is scoring 40 points per game and will again be led by Shane Mascarenas and Brandon Walker from the quarterback position. Marques Walton will continue to lead the defense from his line position. Walton leads the team in sacks with 2.5.
