Fayetteville Marksmen News Release
[FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.] - The Fayetteville FireAntz of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) announced yesterday that forward Chad Wilcox has been suspended by the league for six games. The suspension results from an incident in the team's last game, at Twin City, on Saturday, February 16th.
Wilcox, a 6'2'', 220-pound forward from Las Vegas, Nevada has played in 37 games this season totaling one goal, no assists and 141 penalty minutes. The suspension stems from an incident in the first period of Saturday's game in which he left the bench to join an altercation.
Wilcox is eligible to be back in the lineup for the FireAntz on March 7th when they host the Columbus Cottonmouths at the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville.
