
WIFL names talent for World Bowl I audiocast

COLUMBUS, Ga. - Jeremy Jeffcoat and Mike Vee will call the inaugural World Indoor Bowl on Saturday, June 30, the World Indoor Football League announced today.
The championship game featuring the Columbus Lions and the winner of Saturday's playoff game between the Osceola Ghostriders will be available on the league's web site at www.wifl.us, the Lions' site at www.columbuslions.net and the site of the winner of Saturday's playoff game between the Augusta Spartans and Osceola Ghostriders. In Columbus, the game will be broadcast on "The Zone" (1580 AM). The audiocast will be archived and available on www.wifl.ezstream.com 24/7 immediately after the game.
Jeffcoat (play-by-play) and Vee (color commentary) will bring a combined 37 years of broadcast experience to the championship. Jeffcoat has served as play-by-play for the Lions this season.
"We've been blessed with exceptional talent in all our markets for our audiocasts,'' said WIFL Director of Communications Dan Ryan. "Jeremy and Mike have done a fantastic job with the Lions this season and it was an easy call, both logistically and talent-wise, to have them work this game."
Over 1,500 tickets have been sold for the June 30 game, which kicks off at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at the Columbus Civic Center box office and www.ticketmaster.com
