Wichita Wings News Release

WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita Wings of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) have announced the official release of Forward Carlos "Chile" Farias today.

Although the details of the release are being held on confidential, Wings General Manager John Blazek said in a brief statement that the decision was made for the best interest of the organization.

Wings Head Coach LeBaron Hollimon also released a brief statement upon the release of Carlos Farias. "We want to wish Chile the best of luck and thank him for his services with the Wings, but at this time, it is best for both parties to move in their respective directions."

The Wichita Wings will return to action tomorrow night when they take on the Missouri Comets at home in Hartman Arena. The Wings lost a close battle to the Comets last night in a tough fought game that went down to the last seconds with Missouri pulling out the win; final score 10-7.
