Wichita, Kan. - The Wichita Stealth announced today that the 2003 edition of the "Bomb Squad" placed third in the af2 for Best Dance Team of the Year. This is the first af2 postseason award for the franchise.
The Bomb Squad was led by Amanda Holmes and consisted of eight other hard working ladies: Kasey, Jenifer, Crystal, Patti, Amy, Jamie, Shawna, and Mary.
"This is an honor for our franchise," said Deuane Howard, Stealth Director of Media Relations. "These ladies worked extremely hard during the season and they deserve this award. We are extremely proud of the work that they did this year."
Tryouts for the 2004 edition of the Bomb Squad will be held later this year and tryout information will be posted on www.wichitastealth.com as soon as it becomes available.
