Wichita, KS - Behind the white hot bat of 2B Jake Kahaulelio, the Wichita Wingnuts held off the Laredo Lemurs to win 5-3 Monday night in Kansas. Kahaulelio was 3-for-3 on the night with four RBI and a run scored.

Kahaulelio made an impact starting with his first at bat as he pushed SS Ryan Koury across with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the first inning. Kahaulelio blasted a two-run homerun in the fourth and doubled home Koury in the fifth inning to move the Wingnuts out in front 5-1.

The Lemurs cut into the lead in the eighth inning as SS Devin Goodwin, who was 2-for-4 with three RBI in the game, hit a two-run homerun but the Lemurs wouldn't get any closer.
