WICHITA, Kansas – The Wichita Stealth used a big first half and then held on for a 44-22 win over the visiting Laredo Law at the Kansas Coliseum. Wichita is 2-0 while the Law dropped to 0-2. Laredo has a bye this weekend, then the Law home opener is set for April 23rd at the Laredo Entertainment Center. Call the Law ticket office at (956)-726-GAME (4263) or log onto www.laredolaw.com.

Wichita scored on each of their first two possessions in the first quarter on touchdown passes by Aaron Sparrow and led 14-0 after one period.

In the second quarter the Law had several chances, but ran out of time in the first half as they had the ball deep in Wichita territory. The Stealth carried a 24-0 lead into the halftime locker room.

In the third quarter the Law got on the scoreboard as fullback Sedrick Brown scored on a six-yard TD run on Laredo's first possession. The Stealth countered back with another TD pass by Sparrow for a 31-7 lead after three quarters.

In the fourth quarter the Law got a 22-yard field goal by kicker Brian Hegnauer, then quarterback Josh Rogers connected on a 10-yard TD strike to P.J. Winston. The Stealth added two more touchdowns and then Rogers found Winston again, this time from 40 yards out, to complete the scoring. FINAL SCORE Wichita 44, Laredo 22.
