In another important tune-up for the upcoming NWHL season, the defending Isobel Cup champion Minnesota Whitecaps will play the University of Minnesota Duluth on Sept. 28 at 4 p.m. CT at AMSOIL Arena, the college's home to its women's and men's hockey teams. "The Minnesota Whitecaps always welcome the challenge of playing against some of the best college teams in the U.S. like the University of Minnesota Duluth," said Whitecaps co-head coach Jack Brodt. "Facing the Bulldogs will be an important test for us and we made lineups decisions for the opening of our defense of the Isobel Cup."
