Whitecaps Sign Kate Schipper

July 18, 2018 - The Minnesota Whitecaps have signed former University of Minnesota forward Kate Schipper for the 2018-2019 season. During Schipper's impressive collegiate career from 2013-2017, she finished with 41 goals and 80 assists for a total of 121 points in 157 games, and helped lead Minnesota to two national championships. She joined the Whitecaps last season and was one of the club's two representatives when the NWHL All-Star Game was played in Saint Paul in February. July 12, 2018 - The entire coaching staff of the Minnesota Whitecaps for their first season in the National Women's Hockey League is comprised of people who took part in the club's inaugural season in 2004. The co-head coaches are Ronda Curtin Engelhardt and Jack Brodt, and they will be joined by assistant coach Laura Slominski. June 27, 2018 - The Minnesota Whitecaps will play their debut NWHL season at TRIA Rink, the new, state-of-the-art satellite arena of the NHL's Minnesota Wild, the league announced today.
