On the road again...
The Vancouver Whitecaps FC are on the road and will be making their first stop tomorrow in Minnesota. Last weekend the 'Caps had their first win of the season and are ready to make it two tomorrow when they take on the winless Thunder. The Thunder fans have had a disappointing start to their season and will be looking for their fist win of the season at their first home game. Vancouver Whitecaps FC PDL Season Opener
The Vancouver Whitecaps FC PDL kicks off their season this Sunday, May 3rd against the Victoria Highlanders. Come check out the action as this young team takes the field at 3:00pm at the Terry Fox Field at SFU. All of the PDL games will be played at SFU and are all FREE to attend. Two 'Caps to Team of the Week
Our very own Martin Nash and Marco Reda have been named to the USL-1 Team of the Week for Week Three. Reda received props for his goal in Austin last week, while Nash was named to the team after his game winning goal at Saturday's victory over the Timbers. More...
4 Women Signed!
The Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced the re-signing of four U-20 women, all of whom where part of the Canadian U-20 National Team that won the 2008 CONCACAF Women's U-20 Campionship in Puebla, Mexico! The four women are strikers Julie Armstrong and Jodi-Ann Robinson, midfielder Monica Lam-Fiest, and defender Shannon Woeller. For more on these fantastic women, click here.
'Caps vs. Toronto FC - PUB NIGHT
Wednesday's game against the Toronto FC will be shown on SportsNet on the tvs at the Library Square Public House, located at 350 W. Georgia (click here for map).
