White Returns to Magic, Desmone Lee Activated

(Moncton, NB.) Billy White has returned to the Magic. The team announced today that the All-star power Forward arrived in Moncton last night and was at practice with the team today.
"Billy has been nothing but professional throughout this whole situation" commented Head Coach and GM of Player Operations Joe Salerno. "We have spoke often over the past week, and he is excited to be back with his teammates, and the organization. We are all looking forward to moving forward and continuing to compete for a 2ndstraight league championship."
White, a two-time NBL Canada Champion is currently averaging 18.0 points, and 8.2 rebounds per game for the Magic this season.
"I'm just excited to be back in Moncton, with my team, and looking forward to winning another Championship" stated White.
The Magic also announced today that former St. John's Edge standout Desmone Lee, who the Magic signed roughly two weeks ago has arrived in Moncton and will be active for tomorrow nights game vs. the London Lightning.
Lee, a 6'5" shooting guard from Norfolk, Virginia was an NBL Canada 1stteam All-Defensive selection in 2018-2019.
To open up a roster spot for the recent addition, the Magic have released Maurice Jones Sr.
The Magic host the visiting London Lightning for the first time this season Thursday night at the Avenir Centre, in what will be a showdown between the league's top two teams. Tipoff is set for 7pm.
