The Wheeling Wildcats Professional Indoor Football Organization is holding tryouts for both its Football Team and its Dance Team. They are looking for talent to fill there rosters.

Date: Saturday October 18th, 2008

Registration: begins at 11:30am 

Tryout Time: 12:00pm-2:00pm

Location: Pittsburgh Indoor Sports Arena

220 Rich Hill Road

Cheswick, PA 15024

FOOTBALL TEAM

Players will be tested in the 40 yard dash, 20 yard shuttle, broad jump and individual position skill/agility sessions.  The Wheeling Wildcats Head Coach Shawn Liotta and his coaching staff will conduct the tryout, and may sign deserving players to contracts for the 2009 season immediately following the tryout.  This workout is open to the following positions QB, WR, RB, OL, DL, LB, DB, and K.

Tryout is open to any athlete over 18 years old that is serious about pursuing a professional football career.

Cost of the Football Tryout is $50.00 - payable in cash or money order only at the tryout.....

DANCE TEAM

The Wheeling Wildcats dance team, known as the "KITTENS, well be coached and choreographed by Pittsburgh Heat Hip Hop Dance. We are looking for young women who can be great role models for our youth as well as for future dance team members. There well be a variety of elements when choosing girls for the squad including, technique, physical shape, performance quality, appearance, attitude, commitment to the team, and ability to exemplify the image of the Wheeling Wildcats and the squad. Dancers on the team are expected to uphold the integrity of the team through their performance, behavior, and attitude at all times.

The Kittens dance team will perform at all home games, as well as various community and promotional events.

Participants are required to wear a black sports bra and black shorts during the tryout. Participants are also recommended to bring comfortable dance shoes.

Pittsburgh Heat is a competitive hip hop/break-dance/cheerleading organization that competes all over Pennsylvania as well as nationally, winning major titles and trophies. Owned and choreographed by Brenna Jaworsky. With her 20 years experience and 13 years of coaching she has choreographed many events in the city and is very well known through out Pittsburgh. She is involved with the all-star competitive cheerleading. Brenna also has degrees from some of the world's largest cheer and dance companies, along with safety certification and certified judging status for both cheer and dance competitions.

Tryout is open to any dancer over 18 years old that is serious about dancing for a professional organization.

Directions:

From Pittsburgh and South via Route 28:

Take Route 28 north to Harmar Exit. Turn left onto Route 910 and proceed for approximately 1 mile until you almost reach the crest of the hill. You will see Rich Hill Road on your right. Turn right onto to Rich Hill Road and you will see the facility on your right after you cross over the Turnpike.

Directions From the north via Route 28:

Take the Harmar Exit and turn right onto 910 West for 1/2 miles to Rich Hill Road. Proceed as above.

Directions from the East/West via the PA Turnpike:

After exiting from Exit 48, follow the sign to Pittsburgh. Travel approximately 1/2 mile until you notice Route 910 leading off to the right. Turn right onto Route 910 and proceed for approximately 1 mile until you almost reach the crest of the hill. You will see Rich Hill Road on your right. Turn right onto to Rich Hill Road and you will see the facility on your right after you cross over the Turnpike.
