
WHA2 to Hold League Meetings

CELEBRATION, Fla. â World Hockey Association 2 (WHA2) Co-founders David Waronker and Peter Young today announced that the WHA2 will conduct the league's summer meetings on Thursday, July 31 and Friday, August 1 at the league's headquarters in Celebration, Florida.
The full agenda will include discussion of the schedule for the WHA2 upcoming season, introduction of WHA2 immigration attorneys, internet web cast and broadcast partners, and the WHA2 insurance provider.
Separate seminars regarding public and media relations, community relations, corporate sales, rules, officiating, and marketing will also be held.
"We have many talented people working for the WHA2. We will use this time to draw on the strengths of the individuals for the betterment of the league." Young said.
The WHA2 will ice six teams for the upcoming season with confirmed franchises in Jacksonville, Lakeland, Macon, Miami, Orlando, and Central Alabama.
The WHA2's inaugural season will begin in late October. Each team will play a 60 game schedule.
