
WHA2 Team Stores Now Open

CELEBRATION, Fla. â The World Hockey Association 2 (WHA2) today announced that the team online merchandise stores are now open for business.
WHA2 fans can visit the Alabama Slammers Tool Shed, Jacksonville Barracudas Bait Shop, Lakeland Loggerheads Shell Shop, Macon Trax Central Station, Miami Manatees Manatee Mall, and Orlando Seals Hockeytown Mall. To reach the stores, just click the "merchandise" tab on the WHA2 site (www.wha2.com) or any of the individual team sites.
"With the start of our season only about a week away, we wanted to make sure that all fans will be able to see and purchase their team's merchandise to wear for the season." WHA2 Co-founder and Chairman of the Board of Governors David Waronker said.
The store offer a variety of team items such as hats, t-shirts, jerseys and novelty items. New items will be added continuously throughout the season.
The WHA2 will ice six teams for the 2003 â 2004 season: the Alabama Slammers, Jacksonville Barracudas, Lakeland Loggerheads, Macon Trax, Miami Manatees, and Orlando Seals. Each team will play a 60 game schedule beginning on November 6th. Every game will be broadcast on www.irn.fm.
