Westminster Total Beverage Leads Initial Sponsors of Broomfield Event Center

Broomfield, Colo. - Broomfield Sports and Entertainment, LLC today announced a multi-year agreement with Westminster Total Beverage as a Founding Partner and Official Adult Beverage Supplier. To date, more than 20 companies have also officially partnered with the Broomfield Event Center, the Rocky Mountain Rage Hockey Club and the Colorado 14ers Basketball Club effective for the 2006-07 inaugural seasons.

"We are excited to join the Broomfield Event Center team," said Erin Thomas, General Manager Westminster Total Beverage. "This partnership is good for the north metro area, in particular Broomfield, Westminster and Thornton."

Westminster Total Beverage is slated to open its doors in November 2006 (9359 Sheridan Blvd. next to Best Buy). Westminster Total Beverage will be a new-style, retail store at more than 25,000-square feet in size. It will carry over 14,000 types of wine, beer, liquor and other beverage items from over 50 countries.

The Rage and 14ers are slated to begin their inaugural seasons at the new, state-of-the-art Broomfield Event Center this November. The Rocky Mountain Rage is one of two expansion teams in the Central Hockey League's 17-team field. The Rage will join the Colorado Eagles, Oklahoma City Blazers and Wichita Thunder in the Northwest Division. The Colorado 14ers is one of seven expansion teams in the NBA Development League. The 14ers is the affiliate team of the Denver Nuggets, Toronto Raptors and the New Jersey Nets.

About the Broomfield Event Center: Currently under construction on the south side of U.S. Highway 36, between 112th and 120th Streets, the Broomfield Event Center will be a state of the art 180,000 square foot multi-purpose event center and will include 6,000 seats, including 25 suites, 900 club seats, a sit-down restaurant, two themed bars and a separate basketball practice facility. The Broomfield Event Center will host more than 130 events per year, including concerts, trade shows, rodeos and sporting events. It is the future home of the Rocky Mountain Rage Professional Hockey Club and the Colorado 14ers Professional Basketball Club from the NBA Development League (Denver Nuggets, New Jersey Nets, Toronto Raptors affiliate team). The new venue is scheduled to open in November.
