It's just eight days to Westerners opening day!!! The Westerners are gearing up for a big season at Rogers Park and everyone is looking forward to seeing who the next Derek Ingui will be.
Derek (Franklin Pierce) anchored third base for the Westerners in 2010 and was named a NECBL All Star. He was also selected as RLM Sportsman of the Year. Who, in the new crop of Westerners, will rise to similar heights in 2011 is anyone's guess.
The new Westerners take on the Mystic Schooners on Friday, June 10 at 6:30. Be on-hand to see the action and meet the new team.

June 10 - Coyote Maverick night (meet players after the game)- use Kicks 105.5 and Coyote Maverick as sponsors
June 11 - AM Free Clinic, evening Danbury Historical Society Night - this has an anonymous sponsor
June 13 - Danbury Exchange Club and Akzo Nobel Night - the Danbury Exchange Club also sponsored their night.
