Match Day Sunday
The Whitecaps men and women are back in town and face some key adversaries on Sunday afternoon. The men are looking to stay atop the USL First Division standings as they face a Miami FC team that started the year poorly but is currently undefeated in their last five matches. The women sit comfortably in second place, but the visiting Pali Blues sit atop the table and are the only team to have beaten the women so far. The women kick off at 4pm, with the men following at 7pm.

Vancouver Dream Catchers Celebrity Charity Match
Date: Friday June 27 Time: Kick-off at 1:00 pm Location: Empire Bowl
Vancouver Whitecaps FC is inviting you to attend the upcoming Vancouver Dream Catchers Celebrity Charity Match. The match will feature members of the Vancouver Dream Catchers showing their stuff against a celebrity team including Whitecaps alumni, Vancouver media personalities, and other Vancouver athletes.
The Vancouver Dream Catchers are part of Street Soccer Canada - a national organization committed to using sport to empower and embrace the homeless. This September, the Vancouver Dream Catchers will travel to Calgary, where Street Soccer Canada will host a national qualifier to select the players to make up Canada's team for the Homeless World Cup. The 2008 Homeless World Cup takes place in December in Melbourne, Australia, and the Vancouver Dream Catchers want to be there to represent their country.
The purpose of the charity match is to raise awareness of Street Soccer Canada, as well as to raise funds to help the Vancouver Dream Catchers travel to Calgary to participate in the Nationals, and hopefully carry on to Melbourne.
