NEW YORK - Nashville Kats WR/LB DARRYL HAMMOND, who is playing in his AFL-record 16th season, ranks fourth all-time in catches with 793 after posting two grabs for 15 yards last week.

When Hammond cracks the 800-reception plateau, which could come this week when Nashville hosts Columbus son Friday night, the Kats will become the first team in AFL history to have two 800-catch receivers on the same team.

Kats WR/LB COREY FLEMING became just the third player in AFL history to reach the 800-reception mark last week in the Kats 57-28 win over New York when he hauled in two catches for 46 yards and a touchdown. Fleming now has an even 800 catches which ranks third in AFL history behind BARRY WAGNER'S 962 and EDDIE BROWN'S 951.
