
Week five average attendance third-highest all time

NEW YORK â Attendance for the fifth week of the 2005 AFL season included two sellouts and averaged 13,545, making it the AFL's third-highest weekend of all time and the highest Week 5 ever.
The 13,545 average was up 13 percent vs. the 2004 season average (12,024) and 2005's five-week cumulative average of 12,812 is up seven percent vs. 2004's season average.
The Nashville Kats (16,420) and the New Orleans VooDoo (16,503) recorded sell outs.
