January 5, 2024 - Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) News Release
The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) announced today the Week 6 Players of the Week winners.
San Diego Sockers' defenseman Guerrero Pino and goalkeeper Boris Pardo locked up the honors in the backfield. Pardo had 17 saves and only three goals allowed for the Sockers in their win against the visiting Tacoma Stars. Pino had one goal and eight blocked shots. The Sockers remain undefeated in the 2023-24 campaign and sit atop the Western Conference.
Kansas City's Zach Reget earned the offensive player of the week title after scoring game-winning goals in back-to-back games. His weekend stat sheet read four goals, two assists, and two game-winning goals. The Comets and Reget swept the home and home series with their in-state rivals, the St. Louis Ambush.
