The Indoor Football League (IFL) is proud to announce the Vidswap.com Players of the Week for Week 3 of the 2016 IFL season.

CO- OFFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK: Charles McCullum (QB, Wichita Falls Nighthawks) & Jameel Sewell (QB, Nebraska Danger)

For the second consecutive week a member of the Wichita Falls Nighthawks has been named IFL Offensive Player of the Week. A week after WR Jordan Jolly was named in Week 2, QB Charles McCullum helped dismantle the Colorado Crush in Week 3. McCullum and the Nighthawks offense jumped out to a 42-6 halftime lead en route to a 65-45 victory over the Crush. McCullum finished his night completing 22 of 34 passes for 244 yards and six touchdowns. In addition, he also added five rushes for 21 yards and two touchdowns. Through two games, the Nighthawks offense and its rebuilt aerial assault leads the IFL in yards per game (300.5) The Nighthawks host the red-hot Iowa Barnstormers this weekend.

While McCullum accomplished most of his feats though the air, Nebraska Danger QB Jameel Sewell balanced them out on the ground. In one of the highest scoring games in IFL history, the Nebraska Danger outdueled the Cedar Rapids Titans 78-71. Sewell proved brutally efficient passing the ball as he completed 10 of 14 passes for 174 yards and four touchdowns. However, Sewell's four rushing touchdowns proved to be too much for the Titans defense. Sewell finished the game with eight total touchdowns. Sewell and the Danger host the Green Bay Blizzard in Week 4.

Honorable Mention: Jared Elmore (WR, Cedar Rapids Titans), Dylan Farve (QB, Cedar Rapids Titans), Mike Tatum (WR, Sioux Falls Storm), Demarius Washington (WR, Colorado Crush)

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Bradley Njoku (DB, Tri-Cities Fever)

The Tri-Cities Fever earned their first win of the season and first under Head Coach Ryan Lingenfelder as they held off the Billings Wolves 47-41 in Week 3. It was a game in which DB Bradley Njoku proved to be almost unstoppable in the defensive backfield for the Fever. After a mostly back-and-forth affair through the first 2.5 quarters Njoku intercepted Billings QB Dak Britt midway through the third quarter an returned it 18 yards for a touchdown, swinging the momentum of the game. It was Njoku's second interception of the game after also picking off a pass in the second quarter. Midway through the fourth quarter, James helped propel the Titans to a late rally as he weaved his way through the Nebraska Special teams unit for a kick return touchdown. In addition, James proved to be a bellcow for the Titans on the ground as he rushed 14 times for 73 yards and two touchdowns. James is the first player of the 2016 season to top 200 all-purpose yards in a single game and he currently leads the IFL in that category with 439 yards through three games.
