The Indoor Football League (IFL) is proud to announce the Vidswap.com Players of the Week for Week 13 of the 2016 IFL season.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Tyler Williams (RB, Wichita Falls Nighthawks)
The Wichita Falls Nighthawks scored with just nine seconds remaining to knock off the Colorado Crush 65-61 in one of the more explosive games of 2016. The two teams combined for eight touchdowns of 25 yards or longer and RB Tyler Williams made explosive plays for Wichita Falls all night. Williams (5'7,175, Akron) rushed 21 times for 125 yards and three touchdowns including a 45-yard rushing score in the second quarter. Williams' 21 rushing attempts tied the league high in 2016 and his 125 yards were third most in the IFL this season. In addition, Williams also caught three passes for 19 yards and added 55 kick return yards, ending his night with 199 all-purpose yards. This is Williams' second IFL Player of the Week selection this season as he was named the Week 4 IFL Special Teams Player of the Week. Williams and the Nighthawks host the Nebraska Danger in Week 14.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Tyler Knight (LB, Sioux Falls Storm)
In a battle of the top teams in the IFL, the Sioux Falls Storm emerged triumphant as they defeated the Spokane Empire 63-50. Sioux Falls was able to slow the Empire's highly-ranked offense by the incredible play of three-time IFL Defensive Player of the Year Tyler Knight. The heart and soul of the Storm defense, Knight (6'0,225, Mississippi Valley State) had his best statistical game of the season notching 18 tackles, two tackles for loss and two game-changing interceptions. Knight's interception at the end of the first half prevented the Empire from potentially tying the game going into the locker room. In addition, Knight made strong contributions on special teams as he recorded a rouge stopping the Empire from returning a kickoff out of endzone. Knight and the Storm will look to defend their league-best 10-1 record as they host the Green Bay Blizzard in Week 14.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Spencer Groner (K, Colorado Crush)
The Colorado Crush have scored 60 or more points in five out of the last six games however 61 points was not enough as they fell to the Wichita Falls Nighthawks 65-61 in Week 13. Against the Nighthawks, Kicker Spencer Groner made one of the longest field goals in IFL history as he converted a 59-yard field goal in the middle of the second quarter. Groner's 59-yard field goal was the longest in the IFL since James Chandler converted an IFL-record 62 yard field goal in 2012. Groner finished his night converting two of four field goals and made seven of eight extra point attempts. This is Groner's second IFL Special Teams Player of the Week selection as he was previously named the Week 2 IFL Special Teams Player of the Week. The Colorado Crush host the Billings Wolves in Week 14.
