San Angelo Stampede Express News Release
The San Angelo Stampede Express of the Intense Football League is putting together all the pieces of a championship puzzle for the 2006 season. Along with new coaches, top-caliber players, loyal sponsors, and great fans this will be the most successful campaign in team history. However, something is still missing, a top rate dance team and a crowd pleasing mascot.
Tryouts for the Express Dance Team and Stomper will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2006 at TLC, a Family Church, just off Houston Harte Expressway located at 5687 Melrose Avenue. The cost to tryout is $25. The tryouts will begin at 1:00 pm. Pre-Registration applications are available at the Stampede Express offices located at 500 Rio Concho Drive and the Bug Express offices located at 4220 Sherwood Way.
Participants must be at least 18 years of age and have finished high school. They are expected to wear appropriate dance clothes and shoes. Participants will have to perform in front of a panel of judges.
The Stampede Express will begin their 3rd season in the spring of 2006, with 7 action packed games at the San Angelo Coliseum. Season tickets are currently available at the Stampede Express offices located at the San Angelo Convention Center or by calling 947-DOWN (3696) or 653-9577. Stampede Express Football...
