WCHL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

R.J. Enga, Colorado Gold Kings

R.J. Enga of the Colorado Gold Kings earns Player of the Week honors after scoring four goals and three assists in two games last week. Enga began the week by netting his first hat trick of the year on the final day of the season in an 8-2 whitewashing of Anchorage. Enga opened scoring in the first period and added two third period goals. He also assisted on Brent Henley's second period goal. Earlier in the week, Enga scored the Gold Kings' first goal and added two assists in Friday's 6-4 win over Anchorage. He concluded the regular season on a five-game scoring streak and netted goals in his final three games. Enga finished the season with 48 goals and 47 assists. His 95 points ranked third among WCHL point scorers.

WCHL GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK

Trevor Koenig, San Diego Gulls

Trevor Koenig of the San Diego Gulls earns Goaltender of the Week honors after posting a 3-1-0 record with a 2.10 goals against average and a .907 save percentage. Koenig recorded his league leading fifth shutout of the season in a 2-0 win over Long Beach on Wednesday. That shutout also tied Koenig with Blair Allison for most shutouts in a single season. Koenig stopped 18 shots in the win over Long Beach, 24 shots in a 4-3 shootout win over Long Beach on Friday and 29 shots in a 3-1 win over Tacoma on Sunday. He finished the season with a WCHL leading 42 wins and a league best .913 save percentage. .
