Milwaukee Wave United News Release
(Milwaukee, WI) Milwaukee Wave United, the Wave's A-League (outdoor) team won its pre-season opener yesterday (4/21) at Uihlein Soccer Park by defeating Northwestern University 3-0. Midfielder Sam Sloma registered the game-winning goal with a first half tally while forward Digital Takawira added a pair of second half goals to account for the final score. Goalkeeper Jeff Richey posted the shutout with four saves.

Wave United resumes pre-season activity with a pair of games this weekend. Milwaukee travels to Kenosha, WI on Saturday (4/24) to take on UW-Parkside at noon before returning to Uihlein to host UW-Madison on Sunday (4/25) at 2 PM.
