MEET THE WAVE UNITED PLAYERS TONIGHT AT CHAMPPS FROM 7-9 PM
Tonight, Thursday, May 13th, the Club of Brookfield Hills presents your chance to meet the 2004 Wave United players at Champps Americana in Brookfield (1240 Moorland Road, 262-797-6600). The event will last from 7:00-9:00 PM and will feature free autographs from all the players, a chance to win tickets to a Wave United match and other great prizes. You can see many of your favorite indoor players, who will now be taking their game outdoors, along with United stars like Steve Lawrence, Jim Larkin, Nick Walls and Chad Dombrowski. Come out and help the Wave United team kick-off the 2004 season!
WAVE UNITED OPENS SEASON TOMORROW ~ 7:00 PM AT UIHLEIN SOCCER PARK
Tomorrow night, Friday, May 14th, Milwaukee Wave United will open the 2004 A-League season with a game against the Edmonton Aviators at 7:05 PM at Uihlein Soccer Park (7101 W. Good Hope Rd.). It's the start of a new season and the Wave United is going to kick-off the 2004 season with a bang! Opening night will be presented by Froedtert, Lazer 103, Piggly Wiggly, CBS 58 and the Journal Sentinel. Pre-game music will be provided by the Tom Mac Group and a fireworks spectacular presented by Bartolotta Fireworks will follow the conclusion of the game. Also, the first 5,000 fans will receive a free 2004 Wave United magnetic schedule.
Friday night's game also features a $15 pre-game all you can eat and drink promotion (including game ticket) from 5:30 â 7 PM for groups of 10 or more who purchase the package in advance. Tickets at $12 (adult) and $8 (under 12) are on sale at the Wave Office, 510 W. Kilbourn Ave. (Suite B), or by calling 414-224-WAVE (9283). Friday's game, like all other Wave United contests can be heard live on 540 AM, WRRD ("The Word") with air time approximately 20 minutes prior to kick-off.
