Wed. 7/1 @ Minnesota Thunder 1, Wave United 0 Attendance: 4,367

On a hot and windy night at the Macalester College Stadium in St. Paul, MN, the Minnesota Thunder edged Wave United 1-0 to claim its first home win over Milwaukee this season. Johnny Torres' goal in the 67th minute from Johnny Menyongar was the lone tally of the contest as the Thunder evened the season series at two games apiece. Tough defense on both sides limited scoring opportunities throughout the match: Wave United had just four shots for the entire game and did not register any in the second half when it was attacking into a wind still gusting up to 20 MPH. Menyongar set up Torres with a through ball down the middle after dribbling in from midfield. The goal broke Milwaukee's season-high defensive scoreless streak at 292 minutes.

Sat. 7/5 v. Seattle Wave United 1, Sounders 0 Attendance: 1,744

Larkin posted his fifth clean sheet of 2003, the 21st of his six-year A-League career. Milwaukee hung on despite some intense Seattle pressure in which resulted in several near misses for the Sounders during the last 15 minutes. Wave United raised its home record to 4-3-0, including 3-0-0 on the Pat Jones Field where it has outscored opponents 9-0.
