Milwaukee Wave United News Release

(Milwaukee, WI) Milwaukee Wave United, the Wave's A-League (outdoor) team announced today that is has signed defender Dennis Fadeski to a three-year contract. The 25-year old Brookfield native becomes the third player to formally sign with Wave United following the earlier signings of defender / midfielder Jeremy Aldrich and forward Anthony Maher.

Fadeski, who starred at Indiana University following a sensational prep career at Brookfield East High School, will be starting his fourth professional season. He spent the past three seasons with the now-defunct Milwaukee Rampage, helping the Rampage to three straight A-League Final Four appearances as well as the 2002 A-League title. His career statistics for the Rampage included 71 games (39 starts), 3935 minutes played, and four goals and one assist for nine career points. One of his goals came in his professional debut (a 4-1 win over the Tennessee Rhythm on May 6, 2000) while another turned out to be the game-winner in Milwaukee's 1-0 win at Indiana on July 26 of last season.

"Dennis is a quality player who we originally drafted for our indoor team three years ago when he was coming out of Indiana," said Keith Tozer, Wave United's Vice-President of Soccer Operations. "He's a solid defender who knows what it takes to play at this level."

"I'm excited to be a part of this organization," said Fadeski. "The Wave has had a very successful indoor program and hopefully will continue to have success as an outdoor club."

Wave United begins its first A-League campaign on Friday, May 16, 7:05 PM at Uihlein Soccer Park when it hosts the Minnesota Thunder. Call the Wave / Wave United Office at 414-224-Wave (9283) for more information, or check out the Wave United website at www.milwaukeewaveunited.com.
