Wave in Playoff Hunt this Weekend at Panther Arena with Two Big Games

After three consecutive weeks on the road the 7-time champion Milwaukee Wave return home to UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena for a pair of very important games this weekend; as the team jockeys for playoff position.

The first; Friday, March 8 at 6:35pm CT against division rivals Utica City FC.

"It's doesn't get any easier for us as we hit the home stretch here," said Milwaukee Wave Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero."Knowing that Utica is within striking distance for us in the standings; we're putting our best foot forward and throwing everything we've got into Friday night. Hopefully that will transition into Sunday against St. Louis."

Speaking of; Sunday, March 10, 1:05pm - Milwaukee Wave vs. St. Louis Ambush.

"Every game is important at this point but Utica is the objective right now," exclaimed Oliviero. "Utica is ahead of us and are the team that we want to catch in the standings."

Currently in the MASL East Division; the Monterrey Flash (58 pts.) secured a spot in the post season weeks ago and clinched the division. Utica (39 pts.) sits second, Milwaukee and Kansas City (36 pts.) are tied for third and Baltimore (23 pts.) is in the dogfight at fourth/fifth place.

"Again, we're putting everything we've got into Friday, then we'll see where we are at and start prepping for the Ambush," added Oliviero. "They (St. Louis) are better than their record shows and even though they are out of it, we can't sleep on them either because they are playing some of the best soccer of the year despite the losses. We'll be ready and we know what we need to do; we're all looking forward to playing in front of our fans again!"

Sunday, March 10, 1:05pm CT - Milwaukee Wave vs. St. Louis Ambush at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.
