
Washington Stealth and Northwest Harvest Prepare for Busy Week Ahead

Everett, Wash. - The Washington Stealth and Northwest Harvest are teaming up for the third consecutive year for a food drive and fundraiser at the Stealth's game against the Toronto Rock on April 20. The game is just one part of a busy week the two organizations have planned to collect donations to help the continuous fight to end hunger in Washington.
The week begins on Monday morning, when Stealth players, staff and Bombshells volunteer at Northwest Harvest's Cherry St. Food Bank in Seattle. The group will be on hand to help sort and hand out food to patrons of the food bank, one of the largest Northwest Harvest food banks in the state. Statistic?
On Wednesday, the Stealth will be hosting a food drive at the Safeway located on 41st Avenue in Everett from 2pm-6pm. Stealth players, staff and Bombshells will be accepting drive-up food and monetary donations at Safeway; those who donate will receive a ticket voucher to the Stealth's game and Northwest Harvest fundraiser on April 20.
At the game on April 20, when the Stealth takes on the Toronto Rock in a rematch of the last two National Lacrosse League Championship Games, Northwest Harvest will be on hand collecting food and monetary donations. Fans who donate $5 or five food items will be entered into a raffle of numerous prizes, including a Stealth Fan Pack and the opportunity to join Northwest Harvest in the honorary ball drop at the game.
Northwest Harvest will also be accepting text donations at any time. To donate $10 to Northwest Harvest via text message, text "ENDHUNGER" to 80888. Message and data rates may apply.
The third annual Northwest Harvest fundraiser takes place on Friday, April 20 at 7:45pm when the Stealth faces the Toronto Rock at the Comcast Arena. Tickets start at just $7 and are available by calling 877-MY-75-TIX or at www.stealthlax.com.
