Washington Kastles News Release

At the halfway point of our inaugural season, the Kastles are on a roll on and off the court. Tonight's match against the NY Sportimes is another sell-out, just like opening night, and last Friday's match against the NY Buzz was nearly (95%) sold out with 2,114 in attendance. We are very grateful for the support of our fans and people throughout the region and take great pride in the terrific feedback we receive from people who have attended the matches.

On the court, the Kastles are coming off two straight heart-stopping wins that featured last-set comeback heroics and our record now stands at 4-3. We currently occupy the wild card position and are only two matches out of the top spot in the Eastern Conference held by the NY Sportimes led by John McEnroe, who will enter Kastles Stadium at CityCenterDC tonight for a key Eastern Conference battle. We have home court advantage for five of our remaining seven matches and need our fans to cheer us on to the playoffs in our first season in the league.

Wayne BryanOn Thursday at 7 PM, we square off at Kastles Stadium at CityCenterDC against the defending WTT Champion Sacramento Capitals who are led by coach Wayne Bryan, father of the # 1 doubles team in the world, the Bryan Brothers. All night, we will be offering $3 glasses of Barefoot Wine. And on Sunday at a special 5pm start time, we will have our first annual Family Day when we face the Philadelphia Freedoms.

At noon today, join us at Kastles Stadium at CityCenterDC (11th and H Street) for a free concert featuring John McEnroe and the Johnny Smyth Band!

Thank you for everyone's support and we look forward to seeing you at an upcoming match.
