LAST 2003 FREEDOM HOME MATCH: SAT. AUGUST 2nd VS. SAN JOSE CYBERRAYS AT 4:00P.M. AT RFK STADIUM!

On Saturday, the Freedom (8-5-4) will host the San Jose CyberRays (6-8-3) in Washington's last 2003 regular season home match at RFK Stadium at 4:00 p.m. Don't miss it! The Freedom's match against San Jose will be broadcasted live at 4 p.m. ET on PAX TV. To find PAX in your area, go to www.paxson.com.

The match will feature tons of fan giveaways, including Mia Hamm collectors buttons! Also, Freedom players will participate in a postgame "Thank You" ceremony for fans, sign autographs, then join fans in watching a short but sweet 2003 highlight video!

Fans can join the Washington Freedom as they battle the Philadelphia Charge for a place in the 2003 playoffs!

The game versus the Philadelphia Charge on Wednesday, August 6, at Villanova Stadium, in Philadelphia, Pa. kicks off at 7:00 p.m. sharp. Our road trip departs RFK Stadium on Wednesday, August 6, at 3:30 p.m. A Road Trip Package includes (1) Premium match ticket, roundtrip bus transportation to and from Philadelphia, and free parking at RFK.

To join us, fans can choose one of the following options:

FREE: When you put down a $50 deposit on a 2004 Washington Freedom Full or Half Season ticket your trip will be FREE! Complete the Road Trip order form (Click Here) and submit via fax or mail to the Freedom by Monday, August 4, at 12:00 p.m.

$25: Complete this order form and submit via fax or mail to the Freedom including a payment of $25 per person by Monday, August 4, at 12:00 p.m.

Freedom stars Abby Wambach and Siri Mullinix will appear on DC 101's (101.1 FM) Elliot in the Morning program, tomorrow, Wednesday, July 30 from 8:15 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.

On Friday, August 1, Freedom standouts Jacqui and Skylar Little will appear on 99.1 WHFS' (99.1 FM) "Sports Junkies" program from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Join the Washington Freedom Adopt-A-Team Program!

Join our lottery and your team could be selected to be a part of the 2003 Washington Freedom Adopt-A-Team Program presented by Discovery Kids and be coached by a Washington Freedom player!

Here's how it works: Each Freedom player will adopt two teams. The Freedom player will then coach each of her teams at one mutually agreed upon practice or game during the Fall 2003 or Spring 2004 season. The Washington Freedom will post the winning teams on the Washington Freedom Web site (www.washingtonfreedom.com) on Saturday, August 2nd.

Teams with players 18 and under in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area are welcome to enter! We must receive your registration form by July 31, 2003, as the winners will be posted on August 2, 2003.

Freedom cruise past Spirit 2-0 Saturday at RFK

Both the Washington Freedom and the San Diego Spirit entered Saturday night's game at RFK Stadium tied for third place in the league standings and looking for a performance that would propel them into the playoffs. The Freedom found its focus, and the back of the Spirit goal twice, in securing a 2-0 victory and moving into second place heading into the final two weeks of the season.

From July 30th to August 2nd, the Washington Freedom and The DC Improv Comedy Club are proud to announce the 16th Annual ComedySportz National Tournament.

17 Improv troupes from across the country will battle to find the funniest new champion at the DC Improv Comedy Club on 1140 Connecticut Ave at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. There will also be a special guest appearance from Greg Proops of the series "Who's Line Is It Anyway?" on Thursday July 31st.
