The Washington Freedom finished their 2008 season with an impressive 17-2-2 overall record. They won the Northeast Division title and the Eastern Conference title, and fought their way to a third place finish in the W-League Championship. Lori Lindsey, Christie Welsh, and Emily Janss all received W-League honors for their performances throughout the season and in the Final Four. For the full article, click here
