
Warriors sign Japanese player

Ontario, CA. Oliver Binns, GM of the ABA Ontario Warriors professional basketball team today announced that the club has signed Satoshi Miyata for the inaugural season. The Japanese native is the first foreign player on the Warriors roster.
Miyata, 26, starred in Japan for twso seasons before recently impressing scouts at the Professional Basketball Summer League in Long Beach. The 5'11", 145lb point guard will add speed to the backcourt. "I'm very happy to be in America for one and toi play professionally with aspirations of the NBA," said Miyata.
All 36 Warriors games will be broadcast on KWRM 1370AM, an Inland Empire station with Rob Buska and streamed worldwide at ontariowarriors.com. The season opens on Friday in Las Vegas and then the home opener on Nov 23 vs Visalia at Cal-State San Bernadino.
