Ontario Warriors News Release
Ontario, CA. Oliver Binns, GM of the ABA Ontario Warriors professional basketball team today announced that the Warriors have signed their fourth player, Lamar Castile, for the upcoming season. Castile, 24, adds to the bevy of guards the Warriors already sport. The 6'2" shooting guard played most recently for the 2003-2004 ABA Champion Long Beach Jam. A native of Pittsburgh, PA, Castile was a scoring machine in Junior College averaging 32 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists per game during a 2 year career at Beaver County Community College. He elected to forego his remaining two years of eligilibility and play professionally. "I'm excited to make the move to California for it's (ABA) a real good program and I'm looking forward to contributing," said Castile.
All 36 of the Warriors games will be heard on KWRM 1370AM Corona. The Warriors will begin play November 7th at Fresno and return home for their home opener on November 23rd vs Calgary.
